  • Yeah, I definitely miss ManagerManager. It's sort of a kludge, but it is an amazing workaround, and since its config chunk can be PHP code you can to anything you want with it. Form Customization is just one of the not-quite-finished features of Revo that I'm not real happy about.

    • I must admit, I've not heard of ManagerManager - was that an evo extra?

Yes, I agree with you, it does seem as though it is lacking features, however, what it does have, it does very well, and it's only something that can get better as releases go by.

      • Yes. It is for Evo. Actually it's an amazing Javascript application that is configured by ManagerManager's chunk. The Javascript works with the DOM, adding, removing, moving DOM elements as you wish. Evo's action .php files are rather simple primitive mixed HTML and PHP, so the most you can do with plugins is add stuff before and after the form is generated.

        • ManagerManager was awesome. You just wrote simple logic statements with a variety of paramters etc and *bam* customization.

            • I dunno...I'm beginning to see too many sites looking the same. I suppose it's a layout friendly to handheld devices, but still it's beginning to get rather alarming.

Only my opinion but here it is:

1: the top banners across the site should be full width ( I have a real issue with banners just ending as it look like people just can't be bothered )
2: menu dropdowns need work ( either line the left hand side up with its parents or consider rounding the corners to make it look more soothing )
3: what is going on with the footer ?, far too big for the content in there ( see attached )
                • Cheers Paul - I'll collate these into an email to the client and see what they say.

Always good to get another fresh set of eyes on it!

                  Cheers!
