It's really hard to see what's going on because the forum software mangles every URL you post inside code tags. The only way to get something we can see correctly, is to intentionally misspell http.

I'm not sure I understand you. I see it the same way I posted it.
The PHP code does, but I'm pretty sure the pasted CSS code from FF doesn't.

No, aside from wrapping a bit it looks exactly the way I pasted it to me. If what you're talking about is the way the link tag's href property has an anchor tag in it, that's exactly why I'm curious about what's going on here. lol
I'm beginning to think Dreamhost is doing this to my code. I'm about ready to move on dot org to Rackspace anyway.

The forum software is adding the anchor tag to your posts here. This has nothing to do with a page in your MODX site having it's content changed by the server before being served.
Hmm. I was certain I had seen it that way in the page source but when I look now it's not like that. More curious still, it doesn't have any http in it. It looks like this:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="/assets/templates/ravenflight/css/ravenflight.css" type="text/css">
Whether or not it really was like that before I can't be sure because the whole problem here is that the code keeps changing. I remain confident that it was referencing css/I.ravenflight.css.pagespeed.cf.RZBKWn1uJc.css instead of css/ravenflight.css though. Even if it was always the way it is above, the question of why there's a link tag in the client when I'm using an @import css rule in my template remains. I'm satisfied that MODx isn't changing this code but I'd still like to know what's happening and why. My best guess at the moment is that Dreamhost is changing my code before delivering it to the client for what I can only assume are server load reasons.

I hate to say it, but one possibility is that your site has been hacked and a malicious program is changing the code, but only occasionally to avoid detection.
Look in that directory and see if there are any extraneous files there (although a malicious program could be deleting them once they're used).

Looks like a server thing -

A Google search on "pagespeed.cf" was useful.
