I just upgraded to the latest MODX and broke the FURLs somehow.
The links are ok, and come up in the browser bar, but it then strips the '/' at the end of the domain.
So I click on
www.domain.com/page.html
it then tries to load
www.domain.compage.html
which give an error. I figure I'm missing some configuration file but not sure which.
Much thanks,
Danny.
Hi Danny,
- what is the value of the key container_suffix in the system settings? (should be "/")
- what is the site_url in the context of web? (is there a trailing slash)
regards.
f.
container_suffix is /
Site_url:
in the template <base href="[[++site_url]]" /> gives
the domain without a trailing slash.
(btw, site works fine with FURL's off)
Thanks.
Did you run install/setup after upgrading?
Also, make sure the rewrite base line in .htaccess has a trailing slash.

Maybe you forgot to put code tags around the tag in you post above, but It should be:
Revolution:
<base href="[[++site_url"]] />
Evolution:
<base href="[{site_url"}] />

Check the Rewrite Base line in .htaccess and make sure it ends with a slash.
It that's not it, take a close look at the container checkbox on the settings tab of the Create/Edit Resource panel. It's not automatic like it was in Evolution.

I'm about out of ideas.
Check the paths in core/config/config.inc.php, especially the URL paths (particularly $modx_base_url) and make sure they end with a slash.
The only other thing that comes to mind is magic_quotes_gpc (should be off), but that usually adds stuff rather than subtracting it.
