Can anyone one point me to the location where I can change that? The rest of the page renders different characters normally. It's an import from WP.

You mean that ? inside black diamond shape ?
AFAIK encoding of international characters is broken in Archives sad

You’re saying that Archives in general doesn’t allow international chars? isn't it changeable somewhere in the database?

I think I saw that there is bug in Archivist. On my system it displays months names with these '?' instead of local characters. But I didn't noticed it anywhere else.

Maybe it's bad import and it's broken in db already.
Exactly when it is visible - article list, article title/text ?

Try checking that your database character set, collation and connection are consistent. I would guess that you are not using UTF-8 for your database/connection and so the characters are being messed up when saved to the DB. I don't think the issue is with Articles/Archivist.

I would also but the rest of the page is fine. I did messed up the database during installation and half is in latin2 and second half in utf-8 but the rest of the page renders correctly. I tried finding some archives entries in db but to be honest I couldn't find it.

OK - how about looking at the php strftime() function and set locale()? Sorry I can't be more specific - just had a quick look at the Archivist snippet and think that the text causing your problem was generated using strftime.

Blackflow - What system do you use: OS, Webserver, PHP ?
I think setlocale setting is wrong.
