Hi Wanze, here is the updated source code (still looks the same more or less).

    http://pastebin.com/YT4int8Q

I know the default &hereClass is working as i can clearly see this in action.

From the source code you can see it's not correctly outputting the code completely.

Line 6 should be producing an additional UL tag and line 12 should have the respective closing UL tag.

Ok try creating a new Chunk myInnerTpl with:
      <ul>[[+wf.wrapper]]</ul>

And then in the Wayfinder call, add this:
      &innerTpl=`myInnerTpl`

This should add again the ul tags but only for submenus... the reason they were stripped is because Wayfinder takes the same Template (Chunk) as specified in the outerTpl, if there's no innerTpl defined.
(oh man that's a complicated sentence, though) smiley

ahh thank you so much Wanze, and everyone else who assisted!

I knew it was something simple but i just couldn't get my head around wayfinder (kind of ironic considering the name lol). Read so many articles on WayFinder but to be honest, I understood that complicated sentence more then anything else!

So to sum up, I've created two separate chunks; myOuterTpl and myInnerTpl

        myOuterTpl
        [[+wf.wrapper]]

myInnerTpl - This (if i understood correctly), adds the additional UL layer to the inner menu (level 2, 3 etc)
        <ul>[[+wf.wrapper]]</ul>

        Final result
        [[Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &firstClass=`first-child` &lastClass=`last-child` &level=`2` &outerTpl=`myOuterTpl` &innerTpl=`myInnerTpl`]]

I'm not sure if it is valid to have li-tags without ul or ol tags as parents, but this chunk will delete those. In your working html-code, inside the div, there are no ul tags for the 1 level list.
li tags do need either ul or ol tags as parents - so the original 'working html code' may be working (browsers are quite forgiving sometimes) but is not valid html. This may cause strange unpredictable problems - if not now then later, possibly when you change something seemingly unrelated. Also it might not work in some browsers, and...
