Trying to do an import from Evo 1.0.4 to Revo 2.1.3-pl.

    • Installed Provisioner 1.0 Package
    • Downloaded/extracted revogateway.zip file in remote evo site
    • I can login/logout to remote site fine through provisioner from revo

However, after logging in, all the tabs (Resources/Packages/Files/Users) are blank, even after clicking the "refresh" icon?
I tried downloading Provisioner beta package (btw, how the hell do you install a beta package through the package manager - tried by uploading the zip to packages folder and installing, produced an error, had to do it manually) - extracted/uploaded assets and core folders to my revo site from the beta zip file, same problem persists.

My revo site reports following in the error log:
    [2011-09-30 13:13:52] (ERROR @ \core\components\provisioner\model\provisioner\provisioner.class.php : 714) PHP warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach()
core\components\provisioner\model\provisioner\provisioner.class.php on line 722 and defined

Provisioner doesn't work with revo 2.1.3 the package description says 2.2 and above, I'll update this to include 2.1.3.

Use MODx, or the cat gets it!

Sorry, here's the full error after clicking on "login" button in revo provisioner interface:

          Eh? Erm... Im confused... smiley

From the docs: NOTE: Provisioner will not correctly login to Revo sites of 2.2 and above or 2.1.3 so can't be used with these sites.

SO, what revo version should I be running to install provisioner properly? I am running it on 2.1.3 and I can access and install provisioner through addons page in my modx install. I am connecting to an evo site?

Ah sorry, this 2.1.3 thing is becoming confusing.

In that case you should be OK, if the tabs are blank you've not logged in, look in the /assets/components/provisoner/tmp directory, there should be a small file with cookie information in it, there's on created for each login session.

Assuming of course you've installed the revogateway code in the remote Evo site.

Use MODx, or the cat gets it!

Yes, installed the revogateway, also I think it is logging me in - if I put in the wrong password it gives me an error message saying password is wrong. Then if i put in the correct password it doesnt display any error messages - making me think I am loggged in?

provisioner/tmp directory is full of cookie files, from each login attempt
Do I have to do a global "import" on the last tab before I get to see any other tabs show my remote components? As far as docs tell me as soon as I login I should see information about the remote site in other tabs, however there is nothing in any of the tabs

No you don't have to do anything, the tabs should show the content. What setting do you have in your Evo install for Validate HTTP_REFERER headers? If its on, turn it off and try again otherwise it may be faster if you mail me your evo site login creds to [email protected] I'll login from one of my test boxes and put the debugger on it.

Just tried with validate referer off, same issue.

Ok, i've finally gotten this to work! Seems like my current production evo setup didnt like provisioner too much , no matter what we did I just kept getting blank tabs on my import.

                    What I had to do:
Take an SQL dump of my evo site,
Setup wamp/new evo site on my dev laptop,
Import the SQL dump, ensure evo manager is running,
Install revogateway onto the newly setup evo site
Run provisioner component on my Revo site
Provisioner can now see data from the Evo site!

I am still at a loss how to bulk import all users? I know i can right click a user and choose "import", however I would like to bulk import some 3000 web users.
                    Is this possible?

Yes, like I said in my mail there was definitely something odd going on with your evo site( I still reckon its your JSON PHP libs but can't prove it).

No, can't do bulk user import at this time, its not a difficult mod to do to Provisioner but I haven't got any time to look at this at the mo. Your probably better using an SQL script to do this, there's some knocking around on the forums I believe.
