Using Spiefeed to retrieve XML

Question that I have is there a way to use spiefeed to retrieve and XML file? I tried to retrieve an XML feed but all I am able to get is a table to return. I tried the basic call. Any help would be much appreciated.

AFAIK, SpieFeed formats the returned data using the chunk specified in its &tpl property.

The default chunk is called "defaultSpieFeedTpl ". It's used if no &tpl property is sent. You can create your own Tpl chunk to format the output any way you want and send its name in the &tpl property.

Thank you for responding to my post. I was able to get a template setup and working for the spiefeed. The issue I am now having is the XML feed I am using is only returning 1 result. There are 10 posts though in the XML feed. I don't know if it's something I am doing or if it's the feed. Can you help me out at all?

This is odd.
I've tried http://rss.cnn.com/rss/edition_technology.rss and it works as expected.
You can try other RSS sources as well.

Were you able to figure out anything? I tried the RSS feed you suggested from CNN and that RSS feed works.

I found the problem.
It occurs because the RSS feeds the exact same date.
This snippet has never been prepared to that situation.
I'll make the change.

Mean while, you can try to use &sortBy=`link` or anything else.
Luckily enough, they provide the links as some ID.
Don't forget to delete the cache files if you make any change.
Or use &enableCache=`0`
or &setCacheDuration=`1`

The fix can be done quick, though.
