Page Title Change

Is it possible to remove the Manager Section Page Title. Its is currently saying the site_name + (MODx CMS Manager)

Why would you want to do that?

I am using modx as a cms for a clients website and the guy i am dealing with wants to just have their name on it, no other name. i told them it can’t be taken off but he’s keeps hassling me about it.

Tell him to ask Coca Cola to put his name on all the bottles of soft drink that he buys. By the time he’s managed that MODx no doubt will have developed several options for personal branding ( unless he’s a coca cola director off course )

I’m sure he could pay one of the Gurus around here to get a brand free modx... At least that would help serve the cause.

I told the guy before I started that if he wanted an unbranded cms then he was gonna have to pay the prices for an unbranded cms. He ain’t prepared to do that.

Sounds to me he’s got a problem then..

You could create a custom welcome page with his shiny little logo in it, but removing all references to MODx in the manager goes 100% against what we’re about. If he wants to do that, please ask him to go leech off of others’ tens of thousands of hours of freely donated time, energy and creativity.

The guy just seems to always has to have something to pick at. He’s never happy. The only person who is gonna see it is himself and his staff and 99% of the time he’s just gonna be using quickedit to update the site..

Hack it away. Have no upgrade path. Get no support. Enjoy!
