Hi
Installation of 0.9.5 went great, and the manager seems to work fine.
But, when I go to the front page the following error message appears:
« MODx Parse Error »
MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
« PHP Parse Error »
PHP error debug
Error: include_once(assets/modules/quick_edit/output.class.inc.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory
Error type/ Nr.: Warning - 2
File: /home/westarc/OPENSOURCE/modx/modx-0.9.5/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php(724) : eval()’d code
Line: 70
Parser timing
MySQL: 0.0018 s (4 Requests)
PHP: 0.0254 s
Total: 0.0272 s
And then I disabled the Quick Edit module. After that the following happened:
« MODx Parse Error »
MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
« PHP Parse Error »
PHP error debug
Error: include(assets/snippets/ditto/lang/english.inc.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory
Error type/ Nr.: Warning - 2
File: /home/westarc/OPENSOURCE/modx/modx-0.9.5/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php(748) : eval()’d code
Line: 28
Parser timing
MySQL: 0.0025 s (4 Requests)
PHP: 0.0270 s

So, what is wrong? Any ideas?

Looks like you’ve got some corrupt files. Start with re-uploading the assets/modules/quick_edit folder. You should probably re-upload everything honestly, because if one is corrupt, others are likely the same.

Thanks for the reply!
I don’t think I miss any files. I copied the archive to the server and uzipped it.
Is it a path issue? I use symbolic links. Could that be a problem?

I suppose so. I’ve never tried to use them myself. Could be a permissions issue too.

Tried to do it without the symbolic links. Didn’t help
I think it might be something wrong with the mod_rewrite though.

Looks like Ditto is also missing the language file. Was this a new install or an upgrade?

First, I’d get a more stable version of PHP -- 5.1.1 is a horribly old and buggy release. Second, it sounds like something on the manager side if it works after closing the browser, which would end any manager session you have...
