I upgraded a site from 0.9.5 RC1 to 0.9.5.1. Everything was working fine until I tried to log in as a web user. The login resulted in a blank page with:

    INCLUDE_ORDERING_ERROR

Please use the MODx Content Manager instead of accessing this file directly.

I disabled all snippets on that page but it didn’t help. I’m using PHP 4.3.0 and register globals is ON (sigh, I know...). I was not logged in to the manager.

Any ideas how I can get my site to work with this configuration?

0951? Assuming you did an export from SVN then, no?

Sorry Andy, the HEAD revision in SVN is not yet ready for release. There are likely a number of issues that are being worked out in branches and will be merged up soon enough. Also, just to be sure, make certain you ran the upgrade install process.

Which rev was the last usable version?

Normally in projects I see the trunk used only for bug fixes, and work that breaks the code takes place in branches. I thought that was the case here, but now I know it isn’t. smiley For a long time while 0.9.5 was being developed I was successfully using HEAD revisions and they were always stable/fully functional - so I came to the same conclusion. smiley

MODx is a bit different. tongue

There’s a lot of planned infrastructure changes coming for SVN, and working in more of a "best practices" method will be part of that. smiley

Regardless, it should still be usable. And it still seems as if you didn’t run the upgrade installation process...

Yes, I did run the upgrade - I always do.
