activate lightbox in MaxiGallery

hey all,

new here and loving MODx. Coming from joomla, I am so glad I found MODx.

Anyways, I have MaxiGallery up and running, but I can’t figure out how to get lightbox going instead of the default behavior. I’m guessing it’s just a change in the snippet call, right now I’m just using [!MaxiGallery? ... !] to call it. I tried searching quite a bit to no avail, so forgive me if I overlooked it. I’m sure it’s an easy fix...

Add this inside your call: &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`lightboxv2`

Thanks for the quick response.

So now I have this as my call: [!MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`lightboxv2` ... !]

It pops the lightbox now, but no image shows in it.

Sorry, I read the wiki but it just doesn’t make a ton of sense to me.

Go to the page that has the snippet call and you should see Manage pictures -button in there.
note that you must be logged into the manager and have rights to edit the document (unless you have defined webusers/groups who can manage the gallery and you are logged in at front-end
Upload some images to the gallery and see the results. (You may have to logout from the manager in order to see working embedded - slidebox or lightbox - galleries.)

Thanks...I should have been more specific. I have some images uploaded through the manage pictures functionality, but when I click them, it pops the lightbox as usual but doesn’t show the image inside of lightbox. I made sure I was logged out, in fact I use firefox for dev and safari to preview, so that shouldn’t be it.

Is my syntax correct? [!MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`lightboxv2` ... !]

When calling MG in the template (instead of from a document) all your pages
will be a gallery. So if you upload a pic you will need to remember where at!
