Maxigallery size?

I have problem with my latest maxigallery content.

My call is:

[!MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`smoothgallery` &smoothgallery_timed=`true` &smoothgallery_width=`307` &max_pic_size=`325` &smoothgallery_height=`325` &smoothgallery_preloader =`true` &quality_pic =`100` &big_use_dropshadow=`0` &disable_rightclick=`1` &smoothgallery_showCarousel=`false` &smoothgallery_showInfopane=`false` &smoothgallery_embedLinks=`false` &manage_target=`12` !]

This code is contained in a area defined by:

background: url(../images/mainbackground.jpg) repeat-y;
line-height : 18px;
width : 460px;
height: 325px;
margin : 0px 0px 4px 0px;

}

width : 307px;

All my images were uploaded at 307x325px -

Is there any good reason why they do not fill that space? Instead i have a thick black border around the slideshow.

Because the actual picture is 283 x 300.

sorry,

But the picture I uploaded initially wasn’t unless maxigallery re-sized it.

I just used that as an example, since i am working locally.

I have just uploaded 3 images 307x325px, the result is the same

The pictures what you have uploaded are still 283 x 300.. So I guess maxigallery is resizing them.

I see that you are using &manage_target=`12` in your snippet call. So you do the actual picture management on document with ID 12. Have you checked the parameters on that document? because those are the ones that affect to the picture dimensions and so on.. you need to have the same picture related parameters on document ID 12 (my guess is that there’s &max_pic_size=`300`).

Ok that makes sense.

I guess I have some unessary duplication, as I have the same call in both id1 where the images show and id12 which manages it.

what is safe to remove?

it should be ok if you have exactly same call on document 12 what you have in document 1, but in document 12 instead of &manage_target=`12` you should have &is_target=`1`. (the 1 enables the document 12 to act as a picture management target document, it does not mean the document id)

Hey Guys I have a similar problem.

I am using:

[!MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`smoothgallery` &smoothgallery_timed=`true` &smoothgallery_height=`414` &smoothgallery_width=`631` &smoothgallery_showInfopane=`false` &smoothgallery_fadeDuration=`600` &smoothgallery_embedLinks=`false` &smoothgallery_delay=`4500` &smoothgallery_preloader=`true` &smoothgallery_showCarousel=`false` &smoothgallery_showArrows=`false` !]

I have tried some other settings and even taking out the height and width but Maxigallery still re-sizes my images and puts a black border around its self, can someone help?

Explain your problem little better please..

Eg. what image sizes you are uploading? do you have the site online? if so, give a link.

Okay when I upload an image 631 by 414 maxigallery resizes the image to about 451 by 297, no idea why.
I checked the folder and they are resized on the site so its not a html setting.

Any ideas why maxigallery would alter image sizes when uploading?
