Snippet call & CSS issues (Was: What am I doing wrong?)

I’m using this code pasted into the page:

[[MaxiGallery? &display=’embedded’ &embedtype=’lightboxv2’ &pics_in_a_row=’3’ &pics_per_page=’9’ &max_thumb_size=’110’ &max_pic_size=’800’ &thumb_use_dropshadow=’1’ &display_picno=’1’ !]]

Alas, what I’m getting on the screen is identical to what I see if I just have:

[[MaxiGallery]]

One image / line.

Basically, no matter which parameters I’m adding in, nothing changes...Any suggestions?

I should add, I’m using 0.5 Beta 2.

The brackets for the snippet call should be

or

And in parameters, use backticks ` instead of single quotes ’

Now I have two more questions:

1) Are there sample style sheets available for the beta version showing basic code to display the images in rows

and

2) I have the lightbox2 feature working, though the pictures are displaying behind the thumbnails (which aren’t greyed out as the background is) - is there a switch for that?

Are you using the mollio template? It has z-index set to 9999 for anything that has .thumb class, just remove that.. If you are not using mollio template, search your css for z-index and remove those..

Still produces rows with only one image / line (see attachment for image).

I’m sure it’s something simple - I’m just not sure where to start looking (I’m not a programmer/coder - but manage to figure things out as I go usually).

Obviously the Mollio template I’ve based things on is affecting thumbnail appearance.

Is the Mollio code solely responsible for thumbnail display, or are their MaxiGallery css files/html files that override this aspect that I shoudl be searching out?

Yeah, Mollio template seems to have some CSS styling in it that messes it up.. MaxiGallery adds some default css by itself, but Mollio template overrides it. You can find MaxiGallery default css from assets/snippets/maxigallery/css/default.css file. Remove any colliding classes from Mollio css file and it may help or rename the classes in maxigallery templates and css file.

So which file is it that defines the [*content*] that appears in the Mollio template?

On my thumbnail page, for example, I see:

Title

loads of space

Image


on each row.

Where is that part defined?
