[Solved] how can I custom a button to insert a html code?

as an end user to insert a snippt is a difficult work,so i think mybe custom a button in tinymce toolbar,while the end user click this button,a html code will be inserted to he content area. for example([[FlvPlayer?file=[*filesrc*] &width=[*videoWidth*] &height=[*videoHeight*]]]).

I have add ’template’ to the TinyMCE custom button configuration string in the Manager under Tools > Configuration > Interface & features, on button row 2.
and add a templates list to /assets/plugins/tinymce3201/tinymce.functions.php
Last, I add a htm file to the template folder.()

Is something wrong?

hi,shartbait,can you post a screenshot of tinymac with custom button?I don’t know what seem like it is.

clicking on that button activates a dialog-popup which lets you choose the template. after selecting the template, it will be placed in your content area

after that you override the default text/image
