    I just want to show a limited number of comments from all my docs in the sidebar...like the last 10 comments in my site. Is there a way?

    Thanks,

              This is just what I was looking for and it helped heaps. Now all I need to do is use the comments to link back to the respective pages. smiley

              Thanks.

                  Yes I have. Sorry I never posted back that I had it solved.

                  I used the * approach from the links above. I also needed to exclude certain documents from parents so I hacked Jot to allow for this too.

                  S!

                    Sorry if I’m missing something, i may not quite understand. I’ve got the comments listed using the * but i haven’t quite figured out how to add a link to the document from the respective comment, is there a placeholder in Jot that lists the document ID that comment is associated with? I briefly looked for one but couldn’t find it. I just wanted to use something like that in the jot comment template to link back, but i kept just getting the page I was calling all my comments to, not the original pages the comments were from.

                      Here is the Chunk I use for my latest comments.
                      <li>
                      <p  title="[+comment.content+]">[+comment.title:limit:esc+]</p>
                      <a href="[~[+comment.uparent+]~]#jc[+comment.id+]" title="[+comment.content+]">Comment</a>
                      </li>

                      Make sure
                      <a id=\"jc[+comment.id+]\"></a>
                      is in your comments Chunk.
