      Hi,

      it seems that this snippet has no support thread.
      That’s an amazing one, will be really useful.
      After a few test, I’m unable to fill the tags list using these TV settings

      TV in which I store tag values to display

      TV name:tagList
      TV inputType: ListBox Multi select
      Optionnal value: @CHUNK tagListItems

      tagListItems chunk content:
      tag1
      ||tag2
      ||tag3

      for now, from the front end when I want to select tag values for a document and save with QuickEdit, the tags appears

      -->Snippet call
      [!TVTagCloud? &parent=`2` &landing=`1` &tvTags=`tagList` !]

      but if I want to modify the selected items for this document the previous selected values are not showed as checked in quickedit.

      Any idea ? What am I doing wrong?

      Thx for your help

      :-)

        I’m one step further smiley

        I’ve solved the issue changing the chunk content to

        tag1||
        tag2||
        tag3

        But now I can’t get the &tags added to the url in ditto for pagination.

        Ditto call:
        [!Ditto &startId=`0` &summarize=3 &tagData=`tvtagList` &tagDelimiter=`,` !]

        :-)

        EDIT: it seems that I’ve spoken too fast, the issue with rendering selected TV values in quick edit is still here.

          I’ve moved this to the TvTagCloud thread for you.

          But it looks like your new problem is Ditto based - if so please post the issue in the Ditto forum.
            No, I don't know what OpenGeek's saying half the time either.

              But i still don’t get anything and the results page.

              And even try différent spelling..i’m not so sure where does ditto should take his tada.. in the snippet or in the tv

              [[ditto? &startID=`0` &tagData=`TvTagCloud` &tagDelimiter=`,`]] [[ditto? &startID=`0` &tagData=`tvdocTags` &tagDelimiter=`,`]] [[ditto? &startID=`0` &tagData=`tvdoctags` &tagDelimiter=`,`]] [[ditto? &startID=`0` &tagData=`doctags` &tagDelimiter=`,`]]

                If your TvTagCloud Call is this:

                [!TvTagCloud? &parent=`1` &landing=`22` &tvTags=`docTags` &showCount=`1`!]

                then your ditto call should be this:

                [!ditto? &startID=`0` &tagData=`tvdocTags` &tagDelimiter=`,`!]

                  hum..
                  Actualy I use this code :

                  [!TvTagCloud? &parent=`0` &landing=`52` &tvTags=`doctags` &showCount=`1`!]

                  and for the list page :
                  [[ditto? &startID=`0` &tagData=`tvdocTags` &tagDelimiter=`,`]]
                  and the code is not "interpreted", equal i just see that code.

                  I’n sure to get the 1 in your example. Both number should’t be the same ?

                  Thanks for your help! smiley

                    in the tvTagColud snippet you use the param &tvTags=`doctags`

                    if that si right, then in ditto you should have &tagData=`tvdoctags`

                    the case matters on tv names

                      I still don’t get it. huh Anybody got an idea ?

                      MODx 0.9.5 beta 3 (rev 1533) :ditto-blog part is working
                      laugh

                      the TV
                      [*docTags*]

                      For the tag / is working
                      [!TvTagCloud? &parent=`0` &landing=`52` &tvTags=`docTags` &showCount=`1`!]

                      For the result / just got the code erxactly like that :
                      [[ditto? &startID=`0` &tagData=`tvdocTags` &tagDelimiter=`,`]]

                      I haven’t change anything in the snippet code.
                      All my pages are the level 0 of the tree.

                      Is anybody using that (seems to be) great snippet for his tag cloud ?
                      Thanks in advance for any help.
