Why doesn’t v1.1-rc1 list as an update in the package manager (2.0.4pl2)?

Think that’S the point why the config is not correct. v1.1 is listed as a new package, not as an update.

There are more problems to work on... I’ve just upgraded manually to v1.1-rc1 from 1.0beta (previous version). First thing, I have to configure the plugin completely new after install.

Now I’ve got some problem with formerly existing translations. Means, I had done some translation in v1.0 which hasn’t worked properly (couldn’t create a new resource in 2nd context) and now the translation buttons are shown for my "translated" document which still doesn’t exist. Wish I could say, translation "un-binding" to connect to a new ressource or to create a new translation for releases in the future.

Not for releases: Please always provide the changelog in the package installer. For 2.0.5 ist mandatory, too.

Just installed babel 1.1 rc1 on a recent 2.0.5-git revo. So far it works great, but it seems to ignore custom property sets. The only way I get it to work is by setting the default property set, which is discouraged since they get overwritten by new updates of the plugin.

BTW: Is there anyway you could put babel on github?

Getting the same error as Romain reported (also using a recent git version) and found that the error occurs when editing a resource. I could locate the problem a bit, it is triggered by $babel->createBabelTV($resource,$template_id);

@smooth-graphics: If I understand your problem correctly:
The translation buttons (English, French, German) are displayed when the babel_ids TV contains id’s of the other resources. In your case the resources are missing. Is that correct?

If yes, then you can delete the text of the babel_ids TV, save the resource and reload (save is not enough) to display the correct babel button. It should now display: "Create translations"

Of course, I’m sorry, this was easy to solve. For upcoming versions: Perhaps it could be added that if one ID doesn’t exist anymore, it automatically shows up create translation buttons. Don’t know how much effort this would be but could be useful for someone.

So, i’d just want to note that saerni wrote to me that he’s going to do that (likely) when having enough time. And he’d also do some bugfixes etc by then...

Ok I’ll wait for that before posting my proposals to change the code...
