Support/Comments for TVs on Template 0.3.1-beta

I’ve installed Categories Manager.
Do I need this also?
Why do I feel these wonderful plugins HAVE BEEN implemented to the core?
(I tried to disabled all of these to check it, and everything still run. Hm...)

For a specific reason I’ve found out that "Assigned Document" to all elements browser is also useful.
Do you care to show me how to create it?

and tv_categorized_tabs seems doesn’t work. I’m on evo 1.0.2.

The output ordering of the categories is depend on the db-column ’rank’ and this isn’t exists by default. So you get an error if the module is not or was not installed?

You mean the view of Tvs at the template page? You tried "include" instead "include_once" at plugin-code? Or i do not understand what you mean.

have check it, just the name of the content-tab is buggy. But generally it work. Can you provide more informations what is not working?

A list of resources that use the selected Template.

sorry, but i do not understand what you mean.

Do you mean the same like the "info" icon/sign on tab "edit categories"? Hover it and you see all assigned elements for that category. Is that what you mean?
Or do you want a new tab with the the function "select category" results in "a list all resources which associated with the selected category"?

Ok. next try. Where should this information be? And what to see "assigned documents for template" oder "which resources use that template"

Only a list of documents (resources) that use that template.

It very useful when the designer make a new or change to a template,
then check back the old template, see which documents will be selected before he apply the new template to selected documents at once through Doc Manager.

Currently you will only know which documents use which template when you try to delete the template:
"This template is in use. Please set the documents using the template to another template. Documents using this template:
9 - TEMailer Newsletters
10 - testing TEMailer Newsletters"

Hi Stefan,

I’m using both Category Manager 0.2.2 and Tvs On Template 0.3.3. They work great but i got a bit of an issue with the order of TVs that are assigned to different categories.
Here’s what i mean.

I have Category 1 and Category 2 that have been set in that order by Category Manager.
Then i have tv1, tv2, tv3 in Category 1 and
tv4, tv5, tv6 in Category 2. In that order.

But for some reason when i add all of the TVs to a template the order of tvs from different categories gets messed up.
Since Category 1 is before Category 2 i would expect the following order of tvs: tv 1, tv2, tv3, tv4, tv5, tv6. But instead tv5 appear before tv3.

I have tried reordering categories and tvs several times but just can’t get them to order properly.

Any ideas?

Yes, the sorting is set by category.

eg.



if you display all together, so the sorting is not straight. I use this plugin http://modxcms.com/extras/package/588 to display the tvs under its category, so i havent noticed this behaviour.
But its repairable. Give me a second.
