Cool but how does it differ from the
Missing plugin ?
It seems NG!redirect is more complex but I am not fluent in PHP and I am curious as to what are the differences exactly ?

yes the missing plugin is much lighter and should do the same thing..
- but it didn’t work on my site (generates 302 response instead of 301)
- and can ’only’ redirect to an id (i needed a redirect to a hardlink too)

I am trying to use this script but it doesn’t seem to work (friendly urls on).

on page not found is checked. any ideas?

What modx version you are using? The author only listed upto 0922. So it might not work on latest version.
