I think if you provide your own Tpl chunks, carriage returns and indents will be honored in the output (though I haven’t tried it).
It actually is as BobRay said.
hi,
being a little fuzzy about code display too, coming to wayfinder, the easiest way i’ve found out to obtain a nice indented source code is to use a config file instead of chunks. Way finder call becomes really short and, in your config file (in the snippet/wayfinder/config directory you can write your html exactly as you want, even using \n at the end of lines or \t at the beginning
when you use chunks just remember to leave an empty line at the end of each if you don’t want to have them output in a single line
have swing
réfléchir avant d'agir
thank you all people, will try some of your suggestions and get back with results

Your Wayfinder snippet has only one parameter, &config=`filename`. Then you have a file, filename.config.php. That file has what would normally be parameters as ordinary PHP variable definitions:
$startId = 0;
$level = 1;
$outerTpl = '<ul>[[+wf.wrapper]]</ul>';
$rowTpl = '<li><a href="[[+wf.link]]">[[+wf.linktext]]</a></li>';
This has a number of advantages; everything is in one file, you can use PHP code to generate conditional values, it doesn’t take up any cache space, and the variables don’t get dumped into the GLOBAL array as parameters and their values do.
