    Hello all,

I’m receiving an error when I try to upload or make a directory from editor plugin (from browse function of xinha or tinymce).

Also, I’ve tried to manually upload my files to "public_html/assets/files" directory and after to link them from edit plugin, but I don’t see this my new files.

I beleive that my permission seems all ok (files directory 777).

    Any advice ?
    thank you

I have the same problem with FCK and a simple .ppt
I can’t see the files when I browse the server huh and I can’t upload them by fck
In fckconfig, ppt isn’t denied. How to solve that?

I had the same problem. A PHP expert told me it was a bug and corrected it by writing this instead of the resources path:

        /var/www/vhosts/yourdomain.com/yourpath
        or
        /var/www/vhosts/yourdomain.com/public_html/assets/files

Try to write this path into

Administration > System configuration > Interface & editor settings > Resource path

            and

Administration > System configuration > Miscellaneous settings > File Manager Path
              at the edge of dawn,
you ask yourself if your shadow did follow you down
              all night long

I’m next. Exactly the same: .ppt is not allowed when uploading with resource browser in TinyMCE or FCKEditor, all others work fine. Build-in file manager works fine.

Paths and permissions set like this:

              Resource path: /home/www/ci/media/usermedia (777)
              File Manager Path: /home/www/ci

Uploadable filetypes: jpg, gif, png, txt, zip, pdf, doc, xls, ppt, dot (global for all users)

Can’t get the point in dernier_recours’s post. xeres, did you solved your problem? Can someone help?

In your Manager’s Site configuration, there are two places where you can set this value. One is in the Editors tab and the other in the Miscellaneous tab.

Yes, but both are okay. And all filetypes but "ppt" work fine. Resource browser says in a js-Popup: "Error, disallowed filetype." huh

Uploading a .ppt file with ModX file manager or via ftp works fine, but not with fck-resource browser. As a workaround I tried this:
                    1. Upload of a .doc file
                    2. Renaming with fck-resource browser to .ppt

--> Error, renaming is not possible.

Renaming from .doc to .png --> Success. Uhm, huh Any other suggestions, someone?

Doesn’t it use the manager/media/browser/mcpuk resource browser? There is a file config.php in its connectors/php folder, and on line 124 is a list of allowed file types. Maybe this is where you need to add the .ppt type.
