Heya,
triggered by the graphical text module, I went to work to make a graphical text snippet.
Basically you can use any .ttf to create a graphical rendition of your text.
It is ’load-reduced’ and you can use it from within other snippets as well.
The usage is explained within the comments.
Just copy/paste the attached snippet:
---
"Change the rules, challenge the future!"
Just a sec. Did not realize that

Done!
---
"Change the rules, challenge the future!"
does it create translucent png’s
Yeah thanks great idea, I’ll try this out and report
Nice to be able to use this within other snippets

Yup, my small work is in the bottom of the snippet, so if you want you can extend it to do .png, .jpg and all the tricks the class author made.

Couldn’t get this to work...
First try - the parser gave me an error message like
somethingttfbox function expected parameter 1 to be double, but sting was given
- I removed fontsize from the parameters
Second try - parser gave this
I looked throught the code of this snippet and didn’t find any absolute filepaths (which as I know are required for this php-ttf functions to locate the tff-file, smth. like "/home/prsound/public_html/assets/files/fonts/font.ttf""). I wonder how the snippet should work in this part... yeah, I’ve put the ttf file into assets/files/fonts/ - didn’t help. So I currenly use Etomite snippet (MakeImage) for this, hope to use yours though.
