Ultimate Tag Cloud : a new tagcloud for modx with a lot of functionnalities

Hi !
Since i’ve moved my site to modx, i was using tagcloud from Marc Hinse.
Yesterday, I decided to rewrite tagCloud in order to add many new functionnalities.

So, here is UtagCloud :
* Automatic construction, reading the content of the pages (like tagcloud, because i love this approach)
* Recursive search
* Exclusion of words, using per-language exclusion files
* Exclusion of control caracters, using per-language exclusion files
* Automatic common plural detection (agregates both singular and plural same words) (at least works in french, because most plural words are singular word + ’s’)
* uses of template and / or chunks and css for rendering
* Many différent tagClouds in one page
* Words colorization, with ulimited number of colors (but practical limitation, because you have to set-up the css file)
* UtagCloud other parameters :
o Minimum len size of a key
o Max number of words (keys) for your tagCloud
o Minimum occurrences of a word to be displayed
o Minimum font size in %
o Maximum font size in %

It uses PHx and CChunk classes

Just installed it.
I’m getting this error :


My template has a Jot chunk included.
When the Jot chunk is not called, the snippet seems to be working.

I had the same problem... I solved this conflict by updating jot.class.inc.php. On line 29 replace :

[tt] include_once($path . ’/includes/chunkie.class.inc.php’);[/tt]
by
[tt] if (!class_exists("CChunkie")) include_once($path . ’/includes/chunkie.class.inc.php’);[/tt]

You’re right, I had the same problem between maxigallery and Jot and I solved it while debugging UtagCloud.

I think it’s a Jot problem and should be corrected soon : http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,10541.0.html

It’s everyones problem.. Every resource that uses a class should check for it’s existance before including it, especially shared ones such Chunkie..
