! The problem with the page loading speed. MODx 2.0.7 Revo

    Guys, really need help with the speed of loading pages
    Here’s a link to a copy of the site _http://ss.qubstudio.com/
    especially inhibit pages ditto, for example, _http://ss.qubstudio.com/press-center/news/
    I noticed that after clearing the cache - pages slightly faster, but not for long

    Website is powered by MODx Revolution 2.0.7-pl (traditional)
    Apache/2.2.9 (Debian)
    PHP/5.2.6-1 + lenny8 with Suhosin-Patch mod_ssl/2.2.9 OpenSSL/0.9.8g
    MySQL 5.0.51a-24 + lenny3
    pdo_mysql installed

      Have you tried replacing the Ditto pages with getResources and making sure the calls to them are cached?

      I also suspect you have DNS problems as well:

      Safari can’t open the page “http://ss.qubstudio.com/” because Safari can’t find the server “ss.qubstudio.com”.

        look....
        i’ve just tried to disable call to all snipets on one of the page
        there were:
        - wayfinder for navigation
        - wayfinder for breadcrums
        - ditto for news list
        - ditto for other news list
        - search

        so now i have simple page on template without snippets (just header, content blocks, footer etc)

        here are stat info:
        MySQL: 0.0003 s,
        4 request(s),
        PHP: 2.6833 s, total: 2.6836 s,
        Document retrieved from cache.


        so i think problem is not in snippets

          On the home page looks like the biggest delay may be resulting from serving up images, which really doesn’t have anything to do with PHP. Timing on home page link from above:



          The interior page is a lot slower at almost 3 seconds. The timing on that one:



          Please paste the template, page content and any TVs into code blocks here for that interior page.

            Just realized you have paging on that page still. I bet that’s the reason for the PHP delay. What’s that snippet call, and how many Resources is it querying against?

                  it seems like all commented snippets are running
                  i’ll try to delete them step by step and compare timing
