    Hi! This is what I want to do. I don’t know if it can be done but I’d like to have two sets of menus that are not related. I already got my wayfinder working with the horizontal menu:
    [!Wayfinder?startId=`0` &hereClass=`active` &outerTpl=`top.OuterTpl` &rowTpl=`top.InnerRowTpl`!]

    <ul>
        [+wf.wrapper+]
    </ul>

    <li[+wf.classes+]>
      <a href="[+wf.link+]" title="[+wf.title+]">[+wf.linktext+]</a>
      [+wf.wrapper+]
    </li>

    BUT, I have another vertical menu for internal pages. Is it posible to do this? undecided

      No doubt, it’s possible. You may have several calls of Wayfinder on the same page, controlling the output through the parameters.
      Show us your tree. Which documents do you want to be displayed in the first menu, which ones in the second one?

        I suggest you download and read the Wayfinder e-book: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,34176.0.html

          i don’t see why it’s not possible.

          you can play with: include and excluding pages, use ultimate parent or levels and startid etc.

            Ok, my horizontal menu is a one level menu: page1 | page2 | page3 | page4 | page5 | page6

            and the vertical menu is also a one level menu: page7 | page8 | page9 | page10 | page11 | page12

            So far all the resources are showing in the horizontal menu. When I’m on the home page it looks fine, it shows page1 to page6 but when I click on page2 it shows all the pages, from page1 to page12 in the horizontal menu. I used &excludeDocs=`7,8,9,10,11,12` but I guess is working for page1 only.
            About the Wayfinder-ebook I went through it last night but I don’t see this scenario, the examples apply to menus with childrens and I don’t have any, both menus are 1level. Any idea about what’s going on? Thanks guys! grin

              Try cached and uncached call. Example with MODx Evolution:
              Cached: [[Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &level=`1` &sortBy=`menuindex`]]
              Uncached: [!Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &level=`1` &sortBy=`menuindex`!]

                Didn’t work, still the same. This is what I have now:
                [!
                Wayfinder?startId=`0`
                &hereClass=`active`
                &outerTpl=`top.OuterTpl`
                &rowTpl=`top.InnerRowTpl`
                &level=`1`
                &sortBy=`menuindex`
                &excludeDocs=`7,8,9,10,11,12`
                !]

                undecided

                  It works on page1 but on page 2 it doesnt? really weird. well do you have different templates?
                  try include docs or ultimateparent or did u made a typo somewhere, checked ur css?

                  This is what i have on a website with 2 different navigation:
                  [[Wayfinder?startId=`0` &activeClass=`active` &hereClass=`hoofdactive` &outerTpl=`mh.OuterTpl` &innerTpl=`mh.InnerTpl` &rowTpl=`mh.RowTpl` &innerRowTpl=`mh.InnerRowTpl` &firstClass=`first` &level=`2`]]
                  [!Wayfinder? &activeClass=`active`  &hideSubMenus=`1` &startId=`[[UltimateParent? &topLevel=`2`]]`!]

                    At this point, I’m only working with the horizontal menu to get it to show only page1 through page6 because now I can see all the pages. The menu itself is working perfect, the only thing I’ve done is to add the rest of the resources.
                    Excluding second menu on the first wayfinder call is the first step but &excludeDocs is not working. huh

                      [[Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &level=`1` &hideSubMenus=`1` &excludeDocs=`13,11,14,15`]]

                      works with some menu of mine.
