    Is it possible to not put "Duplicate of" in front of the original name if you duplicate a resource, tv or chunk? You almost ever erase "dublicate of" out of the name in a normal workflow. If you duplicate lots of elements or resources it takes you lots of time.

    Would be great!!

            As a workaround for Revo 2.1.2 you could edit line 111 of the file [tt]\core\lexicon\en\default.inc.php[/tt] - change
            $_lang['duplicate_of'] = 'Duplicate of [[+name]]';
            to
            $_lang['duplicate_of'] = '[[+name]]';

            EDIT:
            In Revo, if you choose the option "Duplicate Resource" out of the context menu you get by a right click on the resource in the tree, you are asked for the new name in an empty input field. That works even without editing the mentioned file.
            But in this case you explicitely have to open the created duplicate to edit it, which is certainly not practicable if you have to duplicate lots of resources.

            In Evo 1.0.5 you find the string to edit in line 65 of the file
            [tt]/manager/processors/duplicate_content.processor.php[/tt] :
            $content['pagetitle'] = 'Duplicate of '.$content['pagetitle'];

            Check the other files [tt]/manager/processors/duplicate_xxxxx.processor.php[/tt] too.

              Thanks ottogal,

              works perfectly.

              Btw: You mentioned Revo 2.2. Do you know when 2.2. will come out?

                    I just changed the lexicon entry, as @ottogal suggested, and does not seems to work when who duplicate trees with children. All 102 children are now name "Duplicate of ..." which might be a nice reminder of what resources I will have to update, but still it is not what I wanted. ;-)

                    I flushed the permissions after changing the lexicon. Is there any further step I should have taken to make "copies of whole branches" possible with the children getting renamed?

                      While we are wishing I would like this exposed to the site configs so that I might change it with ease. Sometimes I do versioning by adding a date and time to a chunk so I can go back to it if my changes fail as they often do.
