    Hi,

Trying to add a rule..I click on the "action" field drop down menu and nothing loads. Isn’t it supposed to load the available actions so that I can select one?

    cheers/k

    Kogondo,

Yes, it is. Try force-refreshing your browser, and clear the browser-cache. If that doesn’t work, clear your site cache. If that doesn’t work...tell me if you get any errors in the console, and I’ll look at it in the morning. tongue

Still doesn’t work. Here’s the error log (snipped - the errors are all in connectors/security/forms/rule.php and manager/index.php).

      Kogondo or BobRay,

Do you get any errors in the browser error console? What browser? FF or Safari? I can’t replicate this, and I don’t see why.

      1. Can you check your DB and verify for me that modx_actions exists, and has records
      2. Check if modx_actiondom exists (it will be empty)
      3. Check if modx_access_actiondom exists

      4. Go to: http://my/url/to/modx/connectors/system/action.php?action=getList when logged in to the manager and tell me what you see.

      Thanks

Ok, you’re definitely getting records. Make sure sure you’ve shift+reloaded that page. You’re getting the right data; I really think this is a JS cache error.

Can you attach your manager/assets/modext/widgets/core/modx.combo.js file?

            Also post your manager/assets/modext/widgets/security/modx.grid.actiondom.js file.

              Here you go attached...

Btw, the other dropdowns are working fine...it’s just the action field one that’s not. It starts like its loading then its stop. I don’t have another supported browser to test in. I have checked in konqueror though and it is the same.

I went ahead and split this topic, fyi, since it was a bit offtopic.

kogondo, tbh, i’m not really sure what’s going on with your setup. It works perfectly fine with mine.

Edit: I just made a commit that *might* (might not) fix things in your setup. Let me know. I’m not optmistic.

There’s no browser errors in your error console?

No joy; no change sad Also tested in ahem, Opera....Oh well, I’m sure a solution will come along, somewhere. What if I manually created the missing table? (modx_access_actiondom)

There are no browser errors related to this...just .css ones when logging into the manager.

                  e.g.

Warning: Unknown property 'zoom'. Declaration dropped.

Working on a solution now; Jason was able to replicate this.

Okay, we’ve fixed it. You can update SVN to get the fix.
