Apologies for the dumb question but I’m trying to call wayfinder in revolution with the following call:

    [[Wayfinder? &startId=`0`]]

but nothing is happening, zero output. I know I don’t have much content in the site but I should still see something shouldn’t I??

Wayfinder for Revo’s a bit buggy; you might have to specify the &level or &depth (i cant remember which) explicitly.

Wow I think I’ll just leave revolution alone for a bit, loads of potential and I can’t wait for the finished product, subsites via contexts has me salivating, but it’s way way too buggy at the moment for a non-developer like me. huh

Did you install Wayfinder via the Package Manager?

This call has been working fine for me in Revo for some time:

          [[!Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &hereClass=`current` &selfClass=`active` &level=`3` ]]

Yeah - I don’t think setting level=`0` (it’s default) works in Wayfinder-revo. A bug somewhere. So you’ll have to set the &level param first.

Yes I did but it still doesn’t work :-(
BTW what is the difference between [[! and [[, I thought it was supposed to be [[ now.

Ah ok thanks, btw I managed to get it working, I thought the articles were published but when I went through and published them again they suddenly appeared, a bit strange but it works now, now I just need to figure out how to make the menu pretty.

hmm something which is a bit weird is that the snippet calls don’t work from the subdomain (context) using the same template and snippets. Do I need to define them somewhere for each context?

                    Revolution is "beta"  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beta_version#Beta

Something that is open source - is something that is built by team efforts. So
MODx will need people that can test out "beta" and report bugs.

Thats the way things develop here = It needs YOU -AND ALL OF US- even if we’re not developers.
Test and play, not work and sweat.

Yepp totally agree, I was just in a bad mood yesterday, apologies again. Now then, why can’t I call the same snippet from my context, any ideas people????
