    Hi all,

    I’m using the Login snippet to allow visitors to register and then login to post QUIP comments on the site.
    The problem begins when the user hits submit on the registration form -- Though the user is added into the sytem, they receive no activation emails and their account is disabled. I can see the following info in the URL bar after the form is submitted:

    http://site-address-hidden.info/acces-membres.html?username=tester&email=treighpugh%40gmail.com

    Which tells me that the the form passed the username and email values.

    Here’s my registration snippet call:
    [[!Register? &submitVar=`registerbtn` &activationResourceId=`19` &activationEmailTpl=`lgnActivateEmailTpl` &activationEmailSubject=`Veuillez activer votre compte` &submittedResourceId=`16` &usergroups=`members`]]

    And right beneath it comes this (french) signup form:
          <div id="form_box">
          <div class="registerMessage error">[[+error.message]]</div>
          <span class="error">[[+error.username]]</span>
          <span class="error">[[+error.password]]</span>
          <span class="error">[[+error.password_confirm]]</span>
          <span class="error">[[+error.fullname]]</span>
          <span class="error">[[+error.email]]</span>
          <form class="form" action="[[~[[*id]]]]" method="post">
          <input type="hidden" name="nospam:blank" value="" />
          <div class="row">
            <div class="left">[[%register.username? &namespace=`login` &topic=`register`]]
            </div>
            <div class="right">
              <input type="text" name="username:required:minLength=6" id="username" value="[[+username]]" class="text" />
            </div>
          </div>

          <div class="clear"></div>

          <div class="row">
            <div class="left">[[%register.password]]</div>
            <div class="right">
              <input type="password" name="password:required:minLength=6" id="password" value="[[+password]]" class="text" />
            </div>
          </div>

          <div class="clear"></div>

          <div class="row">
            <div class="left">[[%register.password_confirm]]</div>
            <div class="right">
              <input type="password" name="password_confirm:password_confirm=`password`" id="password_confirm" value="[[+password_confirm]]" class="text" />
            </div>
          </div>

          <div class="clear"></div>

          <div class="row">
            <div class="left">[[%register.fullname]]</div>
            <div class="right">
              <input type="text" name="fullname:required" id="fullname" value="[[+fullname]]" class="text" />
            </div>
          </div>

          <div class="clear"></div>

          <div class="row">
            <div class="left">[[%register.email]]</div>
            <div class="right">
              <input type="text" name="email:email" id="email" value="[[+email]]" class="text" />
            </div>
          </div>

          <div class="clear"></div>
          [[+register.recaptcha_html]]
          [[+error.recaptcha]]

          <hr />
           <div class="float_right">
             <input type="submit" name="registerbtn" value="S'enregistrer" />
           </div>
          </form>
          </div>
          <!--/ Login box -->

    On the activation resource (ID:21), I have this snippet call:
    [[!ConfirmRegister]]

    I should point out that both the registration resource (ID:21) and the confirm registration resource (D:19) are not searchable and not cacheable.

    My environment:

    Revo 2.0.4-pl2 / PHP 5.2.12 / MySQL 5.0.67 / FF 4b7, Chrome 7

    There must be something I’m missing here and I’d appriciate any help I can get.

            I’m not sure what you mean, but I did try to remove the action and put it back I’m still getting the same result. Was anyone able to make this work?

              Maybe a long shot, but try running the form without the captcha...

                Thanks for the suggestion man. I removed it, but that too failed.

                I know that the form is working because I can see the users in the manager, but they’re inactive. I’m really not sure what else to think of. I checked and SMTP is turned off.

                Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Is this snippet working for anyone at all?

                  I don’t see any snippet source in your post. Just a call.

                  Have you tried using formit? It’s designed to handle stuff like this.

                    Oops. My wrong. You used the Login snippet.

                    Sorry, haven’t used that....

                      Ow, sorry, I thought your problem was the POST action.

                      Could it be the cause?

                      Do you get any error logs?
