I found manager/controller/default/resource[/weblink]/create.php, but it seems only works for internal manager page, because it loads the smarty page.
Does it exist?
Or should I create my own function for this?

It’s this one ’core/model/modx/processors/resource/create.php’ run it from within modx using the executeProcessor API call.
Use MODx, or the cat gets it!

Use $modx->runProcessor instead of executeProcessor; executeProcessor is deprecated and will be removed in 2.2.

Yeah... I just realized that since executeProcessor doesn’t exist on my cheatsheet.
And I thought I was wrong.
* @deprecated 2.0.5 Will be removed in 2.1.
PS:
http://api.modxcms.com/ and
http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/modX.executeProcessor have not been updated on this matter, yet.

What is ’ta’ ?

I believe that’s the field name of the content field in the form; at least it is in Evo. No idea why, it just always has been.

donthit is leftover from when traffic logging was in the MODx core.
Even though the field has been removed from the form, it is still in the data model, presumably for compatibility with Evo. /core/model/modx/processors/update.php does say it’s deprecated though:
@param boolean $donthit (optional) (deprecated) If true, MODx will not log visits on this resource
I’m guessing that
ta stands for text area.
syncsite is the ’Empty Cache’ checkbox.

But there is also scriptProperties[’clearCache’] (create.php, line 353).
