MODx 0.9.6.1 candidate available in testbuilds

Please take some time to download and test upgrades and new installs using this snapshot, which I may release as 0.9.6.1 granted it gets decent reviews.

I have finally gotten down to testing a bit this upgrade, and everything looks fine so far. I have done two installs : one fresh locally with latest MAMP, one upgrade on my dedicated server (PHP 5.2.4, MySQL 5.0.22, Apache 1.3.37) on a live website. No errors or problem everything went smooth.

One thing I didn’t get the chance to do is check this release against the main 0.9.6 bugs which seems to me is the main testing work to do.
I will as soon as possible !

I do a fresh install without any problems. (I installed some plugin, snippet and chunks ...)

I will install and check for bugs (or better the absents of them)

Nice fix in ajaxsearch to handle utf-8 indeed..., No error at all

Upgrade from 0.9.6 worked fine.

I noticed something : before upgrading, folders and docs where grouped in document tree manager (folders first and then docs). After upgrade, docs are displayed with no sense : no alpha order, or id order... It’s the only thing I noticed by now.

Edit : Docs are now displayed in index menu order... did you change it in 0.9.6.1 ? I think by default, in 0.9.6, it’s ordered by folder right ? Don’t remember having changed that.

Yes, I believe the default sort order was changed since the original 0.9.6 release.

I think I found a (serious) bug with Quickedit: Editing TVs with multiple values (checkbox, select multiple lists) doesn´t work. It only saves ONE value (instead of a delimited list). Editing via manager works fine.

Who is maintaining the QuickEdit plugin now? And since it’s an add-on, I’m inclined not to hold up important core fixes for this one unless somebody is actively keeping it up.

The plugin itself didn´t change. So I think something else is causing this problem. Also the "revert" function doesn´t work, only one value is saved and this is not revertable.
