ot: Mark do you use antiviper.net for screenshots? ...I think you must put a credit link
I didn’t know it was needed, then again I don’t speak whatever language the page is in. What should it read? Something like:
"Screenshots thanks to artviper.net"
So far, so good. Ditto 2 solved a lot of minor issues that I used to have to tweak the previous version to do. Lovely little touches like being able to style the Read more link and not showing it if there’s no more to show.
I noticed one minor typo in the documentation. There are two truncAt entries in the parameters page, the second of which should be truncText (
http://ditto.modxcms.com/files/assets/snippets/ditto/extenders/summary-extender-inc-php.html#truncAt). truncText doesn’t appear in the index either.
The documentation alone is a massive undertaking by the way; you sure are raising the bar on that for the rest of us!
Ok, fixed. Thanks ZAP for pointing that out! If you think that is good documentation, wait until you see the screencasts!
@banzi: I gave up with ArtViper.net and about 4 other services because of instability or TOS issues. I finally wrote a function to mirror thumbnails generated by ApoXX’s development server and all is well now.
Screencasts, huh? Good idea! I use Captivate or CamStudio to make those from time to time (and CamStudio is free if you want to check it out).
Since I’m on a mac, I’ll be using iShowU.
