FCKEditor 2.1

Any updates on the FCK Editor stuff or the Resource Browser?

I’ll post the update FCKEditor once I get to work. Yeah, it’s a 2.1PR version. Once the final comes out we’ll just offer up a interim update or something.

Based on your experience, would you recommend that we roll out 2.1PR in TP3.3?

Seems to work just fine. I’ve attached it here, so try it out for yourself. I spoke to Ryan about the 2.1PR release and he recommended rolling it into TP3.3 just from the sheer fact that there’s some key bugs that were fixed with it.

Here’s the funny thing about this version...I didn’t have to edit one single core file from the thing! All I did was update the TPL file to reflect the version of FCKEditor, added the custom_config.js file, and removed some files like the ImageManager and some language files. This is great because it’ll mean that subsequent updates will be a piece of cake!

Had to modify the TPL file a little bit. The default height of the editor was still left at 200 so...I added the height to the main plugin code. Works like a charm! So...when you add the editor, make sure and update the TPL file, else the height won’t be set.

The 2.1 Final just got released so...give me till the end of the day to get it together and I’ll post it here to be integrated into TP3.3.

Version 2.1.1 was just released. Appears there were a few bugs in 2.1 so...I’ll get it wrapped up and posted ASAP. More details to come.

Here you go! I fixed a minor bug dealing with the variables for the width and height of the editor. Be sure and update the TPL file in the install directory.
