Hi,

Want to tell you all that I have launched my first site on MODx.

We used TVs and a couple of non standard snippets.

Snippets used:

- NewsParserX
- ListMenu
- BreadCrumbs

Template is a mod of Andreas08 by Sottwell (StillWaters, http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,2842.0.html)

Did some further tweaks and tugs on the template to make it totally work for us. One thing what we need is an intergration with IPB (hint hint hint, and YES I WILL DONATE A FULL COPY OF IPB to this project)

And a shameless plug for the gamers out here, REGISTER and come playing games with us!

You may consider downloading the header image on inside pages... I certainly would,
or vary the image.

Nice site there, like the IPB theme a lot..

Zi: Thanks, IPB theme is a prebuild, slightly adjusted to fit our needs, our darker skins for IPB are prebuild and slightly adjusted to fit our needs.

Sorry to even give design critques on here... maybe they aren’t appreciated.
Anyways, I run 1280px wide setting’s at work on a 19" monitor.
Then I get home in the evenings on a 17" monitor only running 1024px, that makes things look bigger than I am accustom too then at home, that and throw in a few beers, and try to be nice... lol.
Lot’s of the modX sites have just ton’s of content, that’s the great thing.

I might be too sober to dig the critique... Guess you try to tell me it is to bold and not fine enough designed ?? Or I should add more content or or or ??

Am not clear what you try to tell me buddy. Feel free to PM me with the critique.

Sorry amayr, that was a typo, I meant downsizing.
I thought the header was a little bit too tall in height for inside pages.

Not a bad sugestion, but as is right now I keep as is... the 250px hight might be a tat over the top, I agree, but at the time I only used 1400*1050 size on my laptop. So it looks very slick

Let me dig ans see if we can change the banner and change the frontpage a bit. Can’t be too hard to open PS and make a bit of changes... (if I ever can find the time to correct it...
