SEO-guys here on the forum ... seriously, is this standard SEO practice ? is this regarded as white-hat seo, or black-hat?

... i’m quite tempted to send an email to these seo-linked companies and explain how their hired seo-businesses & seo-"experts" operate and spam ... and possibly damage their company’s reputation

I am also a newbie here and I have spent the last while here looking around and being totally amazed with the amount of information here. It really is quite mind blowing the amount of info that is here and really difficult to get a grip on. I will try and read more to get it right in my own head. I hope the forum doesn’t mind me asking questions -- because there looks like being a lot of them.
