I like to make a custom html mail that is used when a new user is setup,
at the moment it is only text and will just show the html in plain text.

is this posible? or would an extra swith be posible in the settings that alows to switch to html or text based mail.

How is the notification mail being sent now? Is this when a user registers himself? WebLogin or WebLoginPE?

            This is the default notifyTpl:
            $wlpeNotifyTpl = 'Hello, my name is [+ufn+] and I just signed up at [+sname+] as "[+uid+]" using WebLoginPE.'."\n\n".' My email address is [+uem+].'."\n\n".'P.S. This message was auto generated by WebLoginPE and PHPMailer.';

Use the &notifyTpl and &notifySubject parameters to specify your own custom chunk tpl for the message, HTML and all.

              Well,

I not sure if that is what I’m looking for.

              I understand it that way:

With &notify you can notify webmasters and admins that a new user registered at your side.

In the doc of webloginpe it says that:

This is not a view presented to the user, but a template format for the email message that will be sent to the addresses in &notify.(...)The user’s password will NOT be available in this template.

the statement that the user password will be NOT available makes it unusable for my purpose.

I call WebLoginPE with the parameter "&verify" so that the user gets a email with username and password. (the email template is ’Tools > Configuration > User > Web signup email template’) I just want to use htmltags in this email. So the email goes to the users not admins nor webmasters.

              matic

In regType ’verify’, the applicant provides an email address and chooses a username and WebLoginPE generates a password for them, then emails it to them (using the web signup email template in the manager configuration),
So it comes from the Configuration setting in the Manager, the User tab.

                  hihi,

I don’t think that you understand me. wink

I believe know how WebloginPe works

I know where the WebSignupEmailTempalte (Tools->Config->User->WebSignupEmailTempalte) comes from

I want use html code within the WebSignupEmailTempalte

I tried to set the WebSignupEmailTempalte like this: (sorry for the german)

                  <h2> Anmeldung </h2>
<p> Du hast dich auf Schreberjugend.de angemeldet </p>
<p> Hier sind deine Benutzerdaten: </p>
                  <p> Benutzername: [+uid+] </p>
                  <p> Passwort: [+pwd+] </p>
                  <p> </p>
<p>Sobald Sie sich in Ihrem Account ([+surl+]) angemeldet haben, können Sie Ihr Passwort ändern.</p>
                  <p>Mit freundlichen Grüßen <p>
                  Ihr Website-Administrator

If a User now registered this email will be send but in plain text. The HTML-Tags are also treated as plaintext and NOT interpreted as HTML-Tag.

But i want to use full HTML Email.

Do yo know want i’m trying to say? smiley

I realize this is old but i need to *bump* it anyway. I cannot find info on this anywhere.

How and where can I configure WebloginPE/Evo to send html email? huh I feel kind of lost after searching for quite a while.
