This Tutorial will walk you through the steps to create a simple template for Modx CMS.

Who is this tutorial for?

This tutorial is aimed at those that are new to Modx Revolution, but also have a good understanding of HTML and CSS. This tutorial will not cover how to create HTML or CSS.

Modx Revolution 2.0.0 rc2 and above.

I cannot get past making a chunk!

everything went great until i tried to make a chuck. the page will not save if i put

<div id="banner">
<h1>[[++site_name]]</h1>
</div>

in the chunk code. But it will save if i leave out <div id="banner">

?
