    hi all

    I’m wondering how this happened.

The base href of the site before was not like this.

I noticed this when I clicked some links, then it started to display this link.

    <base href="http://ratemysapsecurity.com/"></base>

Before it wasn’t. The original base href should be this:
    <base href="http://www.wikima4.com/"></base>

Any idea where can I change this?

    Appreciate your help

    Thanks

Try clearing the cache, and accessing the page via the domain you want to be the base href. I think that should do it, as if the cache is cleared MODX will request anew the ’site_start’ constant, which if you access the page via wikima4, should register as wikima4.

FWIW, when I visited both domains the base href was wikima4.

If you want http://ratemysapsecurity.com/ to always redirect to http://www.wikima4.com/ you should add the rewrite rule to your .htaccess file, preferably with a 301 status code.

On a related note, I have a parked domain (as seems to be the case with this issue), and on the same day my main site had some of its pages show their domains switched to the parked domain as well. It settled down after a few minutes, but perhaps there was some kind of a DNS hiccup at that time. Solar flares?

This is a bit strange, I changed something in the URL Alias in one of the resources and then it goes back again to original.
Now you can’t see the direct link from sapsecurity.com

Maybe it has something to do with the URL Alias.
Not really sure how this works

              But sottwell thanks so much

It went back again to the ratemysapsecurity.com site. I don’t know why???

                Thanks

Yeah, I’m getting pages on my site showing as coming from a parked domain as well. As soon as I get it figured out on my site I’ll let you know how I solve it. My hosting company now is Bluehost. I’ve had this parked domain for years and with several hosts including a VPS at one point. Someday I’ll do something with it, but for now it’s just parked and pointing to my main sottwell.com domain. It’s never caused a problem before a few days ago, about the same time you ran into your problem.

Ok, I seem to have it straightened out. I also want www.sottwell.com to be rewritten to just sottwell.com, which used to work but hasn’t recently. So I now have this in my .htaccess file (above the MODx friendly URL rewrites)
                    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^sottwell.com$ [NC]
                    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://sottwell.com/$1 [L,R=301]

This is saying "any request that comes in that does NOT START ( !^ ) with sottwell.com", rewrite it to do so.

@sottwell: does this mean I have to change my .htacesss file?
