      Edit the assets/cache/siteCache.idx.php file and change:

      $c['use_captcha'] = "1";

      to

      $c['use_captcha'] = "0";

      Important: as soon as you log in, go to Tools | Configuration and turn captcha off or you’ll be locked out again.

      To use Captcha, the server must have GD and Freetype capability in order to show the image.

            Make sure the siteCache.idx.php setting is still 0. Then clear your browser cache/cookies before trying to log in.

            If that doesn’t work, you’ll have to go into PhpMyadmin and change the setting to 0 in the modx_system_settings table. I think the setting is called use_captcha.

                OK got into the manager,

                I’ve noticed in the chache file that I have

                $c[’rb_base_dir’] = "ziovex.com/assets/";
                $c[’rb_base_url’] = "assets/";
                $c[’filemanager_path’] = "ziovex.com/";

                I copied the db from my computer after making edits on my pc how ever the ziovex/... was c:webs/assets from the old db, I dont know if this could be a reason for the captcha problem or if the locations I’ve set now are right any idea?

                      I cant upload images and I don’t see any files from within the manager, I dont have permission to create folders.

                      What should these be set to?

                      File base path : ?
                      File Browser URL : ?
                      File Manager path : ?

                      I’m not sure if I’ve entered them correctly
