    Hello,
    I’ve looked at the Easy Newsletter snippet but I’d like to have a way to send broadcast e-mail to registered web-user only. I don’t want them to have to subscribe in order to get the newsletter subscription.

    Is there an easy way to send broadcast e-mail to all registered members?

    Thanks in advance for your help...

      Attached is a modified version that enables sending to the sites Registered Users.
      Use the new files to replace the matching existing ones.
      I’ve used it on a couple of sites previously, so it should work laugh

          Let me know if you have any issues/questions.
          If I get time I may clean it up a bit and put it in the repository.

            Hi Bunk58,
            I’m getting an error when I try to send a newsletter to all the Registered Users. It is complaining about the settings in the Configuration. However, when I try to send to Subscribers, it works fine. The error is not coming from the settings in the configuration. Do you know what might be wrong?
            Thanks for your help.

              I know now why it didn’t work. In my registered users, I had an invalid email address and that prevented the newsletter to be sent....

                  Hi,

                  tried it and toke me only half an hour to (translate to dutch) and install.
                  Subscribers are okay, registered users gave me this error:

                  « Execution of a query to the database failed - Table ’nedver_nedver.modx_web_user_attributes’ doesn’t exist »

                  So changed line 126 and 306 in backend.php cause I do not use that ’modx_’ prefix in the DB. Also changed line 74 in the module from

                  $language = ''.$path.'languages/'.$lang.'.php';

                  to
                  $language = ''.$path.'languages/'.$lang.'dutch.php';

                  I attached the dutch.php, note that I did no translate the configuration part of the module. Because the terms used are used us dutch folks anyway.

                  Great module, specially with the addition, thanks.

                    Nice work Frank.
                    I only did a very quick and dirty modification.
                    If I have the time I’ll try and tidy up the code to make it more universal. wink

                      Could this be related to the usage of this addaptation. I don’ t see a reason, but my knowledge is very limited.
