I have tried this time and time again and it doesn't seem to work. I have followed the instructions to the letter but my user still has full access to the manager. I want them to have have access to the resource, element, and file tree, and be able to clear the cache and that is pretty much it.

I would like them to be able to create and edit, but not delete.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am running Modx 2.5.8

Be sure to both flush permissions and log off all users after making a change and before testing.

Are the users in question members of the Administrator group (they shouldn't be)?
