    Hi,

I have MigxMultiLang running on one website and wonder if it's causing an issue when i'm trying to make a change to the .htaccess to force https.
I've attached a screen shot of the error i'm getting.
The hosts are also having problems...here's what they said:
fter about an hour of trying to fix the site, I cannot figure it out. I think there is a MODX plugin that is trying to send the site back to HTTP, so when we force HTTPS it loops back and forth.

Could MigxMultiLang have anything to do with this?

    Thanks for any help

    Janice

Attachments are not working on the forums. Please could you post 'screen shot 2017-10-26 at 11.21.55.png' somewhere else and provide a link to it?

        Hi Andy,

        Thanks for your response.
I have uploaded two screen shots https://www.9thwave.co.uk/modx/
One is the error page after i change the .htaccess to force https and the other is from the web context. I didn't code the site so am unsure if the settings in this web context will have an effect or not.
In the MigxMultiLang docs there's a line that reads:
For each context set `site_url` to
         `{server_protocol}://{http_host}{base_url}{cultureKey}/`

So it's possible one of these may have been hard coded but i can't find where to check.
        Any ideas?

Here's what I have in .htaccess:

          #RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} 80
          #RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://yoursite.com/$1

Also, be sure to set the server_protocol System Setting to https

Just to update this thread...it appeared there was an extra called RevoSSL that was causing the issue. Once that was disabled everything worked as expected.
Thanks to @AndyTough and @BobRay for replies and ultimately everyone at SkyToaster Hosting for finding the answer:-)
