More Forum Improvements: ignore boards

Now you can permanently hide completely hide from boards that you no longer wish to monitor (like languages you don’t speak). Here’s how:

1) Click Profile just below the search bar
2) Under Modify Profile in the left column, click Ignore Boards Preferences
3) On the resulting page, click the checkboxes next to all the forums you no longer wish to view (both categories and children)
4) Click the save button and that’s it.

Before anyone mentions it--- yes it needs a remove all checkbox for each subforum category.......

Hi

It work only if you use "english" language with SMF.

For example the link do not appear in french.

This is just GREAT !

@Aour : well I guess that native language and IgnoreBoards don’t necessarily work with Zi’s theme (as advised by Ryan earlier), did you check with SMF default ?

Where do you set your language preferences in SMF ?

Option for the language preferences is: Profile->Account Related Settings->Language Preference

Did anybody tell you what a relief this improvement is? Not having to wade through heaps and heaps of new posts you can’t even begin to understand!
