« MODx Parse Error »
MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
« PHP Parse Error »

PHP error debug
Error: Unknown(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/assets/plugins/phx/phx.parser.class.inc.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs:/tmp)
Error type/ Nr.: Warning - 2
File: /var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php(724) : eval()’d code
Line: 10

PHP: 0.0451 s
Total: 0.0758 s

Note: I changed the domain name to domain.com only for this posting.

My first question I guess should be, will PHx even work on 0.9.5?
Second, I’ve created a subdomain on this site and installed 0.9.6.3 to test out the above theory, still getting a parse error.

Is there a safe way to upgrade the current installation without loosing data (huge site)? Will upgrading even help in this instance? I was told that PHx needs PHP5 to run correctly - is that true?

ANY help will be greatly appreciated. I’m at a loss for what I can do to make this work correctly :’( ...other then using Wordpress tongue

So, I checked the relevant template in the manager, and there’s nothing but a blank line there.

Any ideas how this is occurring and how to stop it?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!]]>

<![CDATA[Duplicate Key Error]]> https://forums.modx.com/thread/36408/duplicate-key-error#dis-post-205335
An error occurred while attempting to save the new document: Duplicate entry ’0’ for key 1

Also, when I login I get a blank windows explorer pop-up with a yellow warning explation mark. If I click the refresh button in the browser it takes me to the admin area as a logged in user. If I click the OK button, I am prompted to login again.

Suggestions?]]>

<![CDATA[Major issue - need help please]]> https://forums.modx.com/thread/36407/major-issue---need-help-please#dis-post-205333
We have a client we built a MODx-driven site for a few years ago and something has happened where their site is unreachable. We can get into the manager no problem but the front-end of the site is completely missing. Off the bat it looks like the index page was removed by accident but not sure if the way to fix is to replace with a new one. The current version they’re on is MODx 0.9.2.1 (rev 1005). Any ideas?

Thanks!

<![CDATA[9.5 (prototype.js, scriptaculous.js)]]> https://forums.modx.com/thread/36406/9-5-prototype-js-scriptaculous-js#dis-post-205329

One of my sites is running 9.5

Do I have to use these Java files:

manager/media/script/scriptaculous/prototype.js
manager/media/script/scriptaculous/scriptaculous.js

I don’t use the QuickEdit plugin so is there any other reason why I should be using it?

Regards,

Since performing the upgrade CHUNKS has been lost from the RESOURCE MANAGER menu ... took a while to work this out ... has this happened to anyone else ... and any ideas on how to get it back ... i need to EDIT CHUNKS and can’t do it any way other than by going into the database directly ...

i am thinking that doing the upgrade from 0.9.2.1 has some how skipped a bit of menu creation?]]>
