MODx 2.3.5 site (soon to be updated to 2.4x)
What method or add-on do others recommend for posting submitted formit form to a database?
Would FormIt2db be a good solution?

    Other questions:
Can an email still be sent.
She I create a new database specifically for use with the formit form?

If you want the form-datas stored into a special custom-table, then formit2db is a good solution.

If it doesn't need to be a special table, formit has now the option to store form-submissions to a formit-table.

And yes, emails can still be sent.
      They are just additional hooks.

        Thanks for the feedback Bruno.
I don't think I require a custom table. I'll start with the formit-table option and see if that gets me to where I need.
