How to view site before dns change - displaying in plain text

I have moved the account for a site but it is not viewing properly. It is only displaying plain text. I did not move just the site but the entire account and all of the paths are the same.

Is there a way to fix this or do I have to change the dns before it will display properly?

Try clearing the cache, meaning delete the entire core/cache/ directory (MODX will regenerate it). Your pages may be cached with the URLs from the old domain. Also check to make sure the <base href=...> URL wasn't hard-coded or cached.
