getPage sortbyTV with strip TV

    Hi,

    I'm trying to make a list using the call below (which works with int's), however the TV contains comma's and £ signs, is there any way to strip the TV before using it to then sort by?

    [[!getPage? &sortbyTV=`price` &sortdirTV=`DESC` &sortbyTVType=`integer` &element=`getResources` &parents=`3` &depth=`3` &limit=`5` &includeTVs=`1` &includeContent=`1` &tpl=`list-tpl`]]
