Answered Mistake "Forbidden ..." is after trying to save template

Good day, dear friends!

I would be incredibly grateful if you will try to help me with my problem.

The fact that it is impossible to save the previously created template.

After click save - gives the following error:

Forbidden

You do not have permission to access this document.
Web Server at uXXXXXXXX.plsk.regruhosting.ru

Instead XXXXXXXXX - my login at host, so it isn't matter.

I would be very grateful to any advice - I write here, because lost about 5 hours with searching in.

That sounds like a problem with mod_security.

You need to speak to your host. They can check the logs and turn off any mod_security rules that are being violated.

Try saving just bits at a time, and see what exactly is causing the error. First, make a duplicate of the template and see if you can save that.

I can make new template, and i can save that with code like "Hello".

But with my main template code it's can't be saved. [ed. note: megarofl last edited this post 9 years, 6 months ago.]

Well, there's something in that template that is setting off the mod_security block. All you can do is try adding a few lines at a time and save, until you get to the one that won't save. I would suspect anything to do with email, or any javascript.
