    Hi,

I've jut come to create a new weblink to access a basic 'hello world' htm page on my site. I complete the basic questions in the 'new weblink' and click save. I then get a rolling 'saving' that does not complete. I have to reset the url back to the manager to escape.

The file is called test.htm in the public_html root.

If I convert a normal document to a weblink I can't then successfully save if I add an url. I can edit existing non weblink pages. The url format I'm using is http://www.mysite.com/test.html

I have an existing web link on the site which was set up some time ago. Editing this weblink also fails with a non completing save.

I'm upgraded to 2.3.1 and the problem repeats on a different modx install which I upgraded today. Unfortunately I didn't try before the upgrade.

I can create & edit other page types but I see now that I'm unable to save changes in snippets.

    Any suggestions ?

    Cheers

    David

It seems that it was an mod_security issue where the modx install was hitting rule set up by my hosting co. Info here:
