I have multiple Modx sites that share many of the same assets. For images, CSS, scripts, using an Amazon S3 + CDN has been great and allowed me to share assets among the various sites on different servers/domains. But I was wondering if it would be possible to host my Modx Templates and Chunks, as static files, via Amazon S3 as well. I've tried (I have Amazon S3 setup as a media source within Modx), but it doesn't seem to want to connect to my templates or chunks.

    1. Am I crazy--perhaps for performance reasons?
    2. Has anyone done this?

    Thanks.

      1. Yes
      2. It should be doable using media sources AFAIK
